Winners will appear in a Ionia Sentinel Standard special issue in October 29, 2014.

The readers of Ionia Sentinel Standard are invited to vote in this contest by visiting Best of 2014 from August 12 through September 22, 2014.

There is no fee to vote in this contest.

Voting is limited to persons eighteen (18) years of age or older.

For the purposes of this contest, the vote must be cast on our website by a “unique” voter. A “unique” voter is an individual person: (a) who has registered to vote on the website, (b) with unique registration information (i.e. email address) that is not duplicative of another voter’s information. A unique voter may vote only once. If it is determined by Ionia Sentinel Standard, in its sole discretion, that an abuse of the “unique” voter rules has occurred, Ionia Sentinel Standard may disqualify votes cast by such voters including if more than one such voter has registered from the same residential computer or “IP address”.

Ionia Sentinel Standard will not be responsible for misdirected votes. The use of robotic or automatic devices to submit votes is prohibited and Ionia Sentinel Standard reserves the right to nullify any and all such votes and to disqualify the responsible individual from voting. Businesses are prohibited from obtaining votes by any fraudulent or inappropriate means, including, without limitation, offering prizes or other inducements to members of the public, as determined by Ionia Sentinel Standard in its sole discretion.

In the event of a tie, a random drawing among the tied finalists will be conducted at the offices of Ionia Sentinel Standard to determine the winning business/person.

At least 50% of the ballot must be completed to qualify as a registered vote.

All Sentinel employees and their immediate families are ineligible to vote.

Results are the opinion of the readers of Ionia County and in no way reflect the opinion of Ionia Sentinel Standard.

Please be specific in your responses if your choice has more than one location. Please keep responses to locally owned and run businesses or people in Ionia County.

Winners will appear in a special edition in Ionia Sentinel Standard October 2014.
